Mainasara Atiku Zurmi was born on May 22, 1982, in Zurmi town, Zurmi Local Government, Zamfara State. He enrolled at Isau Model Primary School, Zirmi, where he obtained his First Leaving School Certificate in 1991. He then moved to Government Secondary School Gummi, where he successfully obtained his SSCE Certificate in 1997. He proceeded to Usmanu Dafodiyo University, Sokoto, for his first and Second degrees in the Department of Public Administration, 2004 and 2010, respectively.He joined the civil service in the year 2008, Office of the Head of Service, Zamfara State. He served for the period of four years, later moved to the mainstream of the Federal Civil Service in 2011, and worked with the National Lottery CommissionVoluntarily resigned from the service in 2019 and joined politics. Contested for the office of Honourable Vice Chairman, Zurmi Local Government, Zamfara State.Now appointed as the Zurmi Local Government Council SecretaryHappily married with two wives and seven children
